Upon completion of this course, students will be able:

Course Content (Syllabus)
Principles of arthropod pest management. Sampling, monitoring and yield loss assessment. Economic thresholds. Planning and implementation of an integrated pest management system. Management strategies and tactics. Chemical, biological, cultural and mechanical control, genetic control and other methods. Case studies of integrated pest management on agricultural crops.
