Course Content (Syllabus)
Control of Physiology of Reproduction in Farm Animals (sheep, cows, goats, pigs, horses).Control of puberty, oestrus cycle, pregnancy, parturition and post-partum period. Control of seasonal reproduction. Synchronization of oestrus. Application of laparotomy. Application of laparoscopy. New technology in Artificial insemination. Evaluation of genetics parameters for the reproduction (ovulation rate - embryonic mortality, prolificacy). Genetic variability of seasonal spontaneous ovulatory activity in Mediterranean breed of sheep. Biodiversity. Inbreeding
