Course Content (Syllabus)
Organic (biological) farming. Integrated farming systems. Biodynamic farming.Comparison between conventional and alternative farming systems. Disease control in alternative farming systems. Insect control in alternative farming systems. Energy and alternative farming systems
Biodiversity and alternative farming systems. Management and processing of animal manure- Fertilization. Organic farming in vineyards. Aromatic and medicinal plants and alternative farming systems. Organic and integrated farming in asparagus farms.
