Course Content (Syllabus)
Brief review of problems facing the natural and agricultural ecosystems of Greece. Protected areas of Grece. Field margin ecosystems. Codes of good agricultural practices. Environmental impact assessment studies. Directive 92/43 EU. Management plans of protected areas (Integrated and specific). The structure and legal aspects of a management plan and procedures for its preparation, implementation and periodic review. The management bodies of protected areas. Relevant legislation.
