The student is expected that in the frame of the course to
• develop their personal skills in basic knowledge organization and composition of bibliography
• understand the theoretical pillars of History and Literature Translation and their specificities
• Relate theory with practice through participation in related activities
• become familiar with the planning and organization of research relevant to the subject matter of the course
Course Content (Syllabus)
Greece goes through several political, economical, social and cultural phases. Greece and Italy, due to their geographical vicinity, have almost had mutual cultural influences.
The Ionian Sea is a bridge between the two cultures which are at various levels inter-related. In the area of the Greek literary production, awareness and influence of the Italian literature can be traced both on the Greek literature itself and on the Greek translations of Italian works.
