Learning Outcomes
After the completion of the second semester of preclinic endodontics, the students will be able to acknowledge:
The new techniques of preparation and obturation of the root canals
The problems (causes – solutions) during the endodontic therapy.
Tooth isolation.
In the end the students will have the knowledge and skills for the clinical practice of Endodontics.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The aim of the lesson is for the students to gain knowledge of the newest technique in preparation and obturation of the root canals, to recognize the problems and iatrogenic errors during the endodontic therapy as well as the techniques for tooth isolation and permanent crown restoration after the completion of the endodontic therapy. The laboratory practice involves the endodontic treatment in posterior teeth.
