Learning Outcomes
With the end of the course the student of Dentistry must: - have obtained the ability to contribute in the promotion of oral health by applying current preventive methods evidence based of manifestation or progression of decay, and - understand that the clinical application of the principles of prevention in every day practice is a necessity of the current changes of modern practice of Dentistry.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The purpose of the course is the student of Dentistry: 1. To acquire the ability to inform, educate and apply primary, secondary and tertiary prevention in his/her patients of all ages, which will give emphasis in the current principles of prevention and treatment of oral diseases, and 2. to realize the significance of clinical application the principles of preventive dentistry in oral and general health promotion, by applying suitable individualized preventive programs.
