Learning Outcomes
The main objectives of this course is to equip students with the knowledge concerning the selection and use of materials used in dental clinical practice, as well as to evaluate the effectiveness and potential problems resulting from intraoral function of materials.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course covers the issues of composition and structure of the materials used in Dentistry. Dental materials are either used for the execution of dental procedures or as permanent restorative materials. Additionally, the critical properties of dental materials are presented and discussed, placing emphasis on the properties pertinent to the interactions between dental materials and the biological substrate.
