Learning Outcomes
The main objective of this course is the understanding of the theoretical principles governing the construction of complex removable prostheses.The objective of the clinical work is the development of skills necessary in the fabrication of complex removable prostheses.

Course Content (Syllabus)
This course includes teaching of the following subjects: a. immediate dentures, b. tooth-supported overdentures, c. telescopic dentures, d. removable partial dentures with attachments, e. implant-supported overdentures, f. fixed detachable implant supported prostheses. Every lecture contains the following: a. definition, b. properties, c. indications, d. contraindications, e. advantages, f. disadvantages, g. clinical and laboratory procedures. The students have the opportunity to rehabilitate patients with some of the above mentioned types of prostheses during the two last semesters of their studies.
