Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course students should be able to design and implement aν evaluative research, based on the methodology of the scientific field research. This kind of research can be related to any facet of the foreign language learning procedure (e.g. student, teacher, program, teaching material, time of objectives achievement from the students). The basic aim of the course is the acquisition of the competence by the students to implement an planned and organize data collection about the qualitative and, in some cases, quantitative characteristics of the foreign language lesson.
In particular, they should be able to:
a) set the research goals
b) compose the research assumptions
c) set a schedule emphasizing to the time and the place of the data gathering as well as to the time of data processing and analysis.
