Learning Outcomes
To present the production process and presentation of artwork as a unity. How to develop knowledge and understanding of contemporary art through the act of the workshop to meet the demands of modern art, social and cultural context. How to develop professionalism in free artistic practice, technical skills and production organizational skills in order to respond adequately to the level of the different application fields of visual arts that arise. The students must have the capacity to implement and find solutions to their creative ideas, experimental methods and conceptual proposals. To have the ability to negotiate and argue individual/team level. To understand the recruitment relationships and host of artwork from different viewers Content of perceptual capacity in which each project can be developed Ability to act effectively in the conditions of working environment Developments of basic research methods that the recruitment information can be critically edited and collected with further other information. Ability to develop and understanding of the theory, conceptual approach and methodology corresponding to a field of knowledge that occurs through the visual search. Course Content (Syllabus)
Theoretical approaches related to students' artworks, so that they can situate their artistic production within a theoretical framework. During the course the student is expected through elaborated approach to become acquainted with the experiences, the transformations and concerns that shaped the Aesthetics of Philosophy during the last 50 years, adopting some expressly formulated criteria and their adequate relationship with the artistic research as well. The contemporary aesthetic currents discussed historically, through selected issues of aesthetic philosophy always in correlation with specific art projects and artworks. The main issues addressed in the courses, are: definition and identification of artwork, existence or ways of existence of works of art, proper distinguish between aesthetic and artistic qualities, the relation between art and reality, creative parameters and relative procecess, the relation between art, history and society, ethical or critical dimensions of art, interelations between art and technology. The course proposes a range of "critical issues", aimed to offer a panoramic view of topics which seem as the most urgent of our time.
