Course Content (Syllabus)
There will be studied theoretical, critical and literary texts of three levels: texts presenting the theoretical construct of socialist realism, texts that enlarge it in the post-war period, and texts that go beyond and contradict its established principles either as a theoretical and literary expression as an objectionable critique. Literary journals (Nea Epitheorisi, Protopori, Nei Protopori – Idea, Arheion Philosophias kai Theorias ton Epistimon, - Critiki, Epitheorisi Technis, etc.) will also be the main source of theoretical, critical and literary texts' which outline the principles of socialist realism, as well as efforts of enlargement ,overriding and objectionable criticism of this theoretical-artistic construct.
