Course Content (Syllabus)
Anthropological conditions and soteriological consequences of the teaching of monk Pelagius and representatives of Pelagianism in the West are studied. Their treatment mainly by St. Augustine and Synods is investigated, the theological controversies that erupted because of Pelagianism are highlighted, as well as their subsequent effects on western Christianity.
