in the end of this course students will know about: -the basic experimental procedures of Organic Chemistry -the design and multi-step synthesis of organic compounds, and their isolation, purification and identification -the synthesis of products with application connected to technology and industry -the isolation and identification of substituents of natural products

Course Content (Syllabus)
Safety in the laboratory of Organic chemistry. Techiques and procedures in Organic Chemistry. Characteristic syntheses. Four step synthesis of azo-dye. 6,10-Nylon synthesis. Soap preparation. Isolation of components of natural products. Thin Layer Chromatography.
