Course Content (Syllabus)
Definitions of natural products-Natural Products Chemistry- categories of natural products- isolation of bioactive ingredients from NP, analysis of natural products-biosynthesis-synthetic methods and biotechnological ones for the production of NP, -functional foods- Application of NP:food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, food additives-Natural pigments-Natural antioxidants-Wine: chemistry and technology- Use of NP as pharmaceuticals: History-drug discovery and drug development- Quality control of natural products-Combinatorial chemistry- Laboratory of preparation of cosmetics based on NP
