At the end of the course, students will be able to:

• Know the scope of forest legislation
• Report and describe the subjects of legal relationships
• Recognize and distinguish the rights that exist on the Greek forests
• Know and analyze basic "forest" and "environmental" laws
• Know what the Constitution provides for forests and the natural environment
• Report basic International Organizations and Institution on forests
• Report and distinguish fundamental principles of the Greek and European Community legal order for the protection of forestry wealth
Course Content (Syllabus)
Rules of law and separation of powers. Scope of forest legislation. Subjects of legal relationships. Rights in Greek law. Recognition of rights in rem. Rights on forests. Progression of the Greek forest legislation over time. Forests and natural environment in the 1975 Constitution and its Revision. Forests in International and European Community Law. International Organizations and Institution on forests. Fundamental principles of the Greek and European Community legal order for the protection of forestry wealth.
