Learning Outcomes
The students understand the structure and the organisation of the parish, which is the core cell of the ecclesiological life. The relations between the parish and the bishopship are examined through history. The students visit parishes of urban, suburban and rural environment and they, especially the members of the clerish, become familiar with the parish pastoral work. The students are trained into the basic aspects of the parish pastoral work. The students specialise into the pastoral work of the youth. The students become familiar with the problems of the elderly. The students learn to organise social and voluntary work.

Course Content (Syllabus)
In courses the ecclesiological character of the parish institution is praised, its appearance forms, and its establishment and operation at various phases of church life and interaction with the wider church and social structure are examined. Alongsid the role of the Parish in modern reality, its internal organization as well as its problems and prospects are investigated.
