Τhe course will be offered in German for students who speak the german language. Roman Law is the common fundament of a great part of modern european legal οrders. To a certain extent the roman law was influenced by the ancient greek laws and the greek philosophy. As a result this course aims to the better understanding of modern law. Sources and structures of ancient legal orders will also be discussed. An overview about ancient constitutions and institutions of private law (eg. family, property, contract, legal remedies etc) are also included to the topics of this course.
