Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction (Law of Obligations as a branch of Civil Law. General and special part of Law of Obligations. Sources and scope of application. Main features). Notion of obligation (obligation in the broad and in the strict sense. More specifically about obligation in the strict sense: Actual status and legal effects). Contractual liability (notion and distinctions, general requirements). Types of obligations (basic distinctions). Operation of obligation (normal operation, breach of contract). Earnest and penalty clause. Alteration of obligation (notion and forms, assignment of claim and assumption of debt). Extinction of obligation in the broad and in the strict sense. Rescission, termination, revocation.
