Learning Outcomes
The following ones are defined as learning outcomes: a) knowledge of provisional remedies b) students are expected to participate actively at the education proceedings, c) the main target of the course is to connect theory and practice on provisional remedies in Greece, d) future lawyers and judges become familiar with the latest developments in provisional remedies, e) elaboration of provisional remedies, f) assimilation of the above in order to confront with practical issues through tutorials and g) written (or) oral tests to check if the above goals have been achieved.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The course includes: a) teaching of the general provisions for granting provisional remedies (Articles 682-703 Code of Civil Procedure) as well as of the particular remedies (judicial Security, Prenotice in Mortgage Record of a Real Mortgage, Conservatory Attachment, Judicial Sequestration, Sealing, Unsealing, Inventory, Public Deposit of Property, Provisional Adjudication of Claims, Provisional Arrangement of Disputed Situation), based on notes, practical exercises and jurisprudence
