Learning Outcomes
The following aims are defined as learning outcomes: a) getting knowledge of the procedure of resolving disputes with an interntational impact, b) increasing the students'capacity to connect theory and practice, c)revieling the method of approachig foreign jurisprudence and theory, d) getting future lawyers and judges familiar with the latest developments in international litigation, e) assimilation of the above in order to confront with practical issues through tutorials and g) written (or) oral tests to check if the above goals have been achieved.
Course Content (Syllabus)
The course teaches the practice of litigation in connection with disputes among businesses or individuals residing or based in different countries. The content of the course deals with certain issues of significance-such as personal jurisdiction, service of process, evidence from abroad, and enforcement of foreign judgments.
