Course Content (Syllabus)
The course deals with issues of applicable law and civil proceedings to private law relationships having a foreign element. Contents: (a) General principles of Conflicts of Law (structure of choice of law rule, characterisation, renvoi, incidental question, public policy, application of foreign law). (b) Special part (law applicable to legal capacity of natural and legal persons, family relationships, contracts, delicts, property and succession). (c) International Procedural Law (International jurisdiction, enforcement of judgments, Arbitration. (d) General principles of Greek Nationality Law.
