Course Content (Syllabus)
The pastoral and social work of the Church, as an expression of the unselfish love of its members, can take a variety of forms. Within this lesson, the applications of the pastoral and social work to the spiritual construction and relief of the suffering human being are systematically examined. In this context, visits to social assistance structures are being explored and practical problems are addressed such as illness, various forms of addiction, violence and social exclusion 1. Pastoral and catechetical work in the parish 2. Charity work in the parish 3.Pastoral treatment of addicts 4. Pastoral and health institutions(Hospitals and clinics) 5. Pastoral and Prison System 6. Mass media and violence 7. Social media and their impact 8. Addiction to the use of the internet 9. Ethical view of work 10 Community and social work of the Church 11. Religious violence and Christianity 12. Human rights and ecclesiastical ministry. The problem of immigration 13. Social economy and charity.

Description
At the end of the semester, they are examined verbally in groups of four or six students on material taught and found in the book offered for the lesson. The presence of students to the lectures is considered. Those who miss two lectures during the semester must contact the professor for additional/special arrangements.
