Presentation of the most important milestones and trends of Byzantine and post-Byzantine Hagiography from the middle-byzantine period onwards
1. The Hagiography of the iconoclastic period
2. New trends : New Saints & Μetaphrasis of the hagiographic texts
3. The New Witnesses (Neomartyrs) of Byzantium
4. The most important writers of hagiographic texts of the 8th and 9th century and their contribution
5. The creation of collections and codification of hagiographic sources
6. The hagiographic crescendo of the 10th century and the Byzantine Encyclopaidism
