Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course the intended learning objective is to acquaint the students with the devastating consequences of nationalism in the Church, transnational relations and culture. Moreover consists students to attend a scientific conference to enrich their knowledge about the problem of nationalism in the countries of Southeast Europe, but mainly to cultivate scientific thinking and judgment of various sources of history of these churches and their relationship with Member which are mounted.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Students will be taught the following modules: 1. Nationalism as a historical phenomenon. 2. Nationalism in the Balkans. 3. Bulgarian Schism. 4. Local Synod of Constantinople. 5. Review nationalism from the Orthodox viewpoint. 6. Nationalism in Russia. 7. Nationalism in Bulgaria. 8. Nationalism in Albania. 9. Nationalism in Skopje. 10.The schismatic Church of Skopje as a consequence of nationalism. 11.The martyrdom of Archbishop John. 12.The Synod of Nice. 13. German Church and Nationalism.
