Course Content (Syllabus)
The course focuses on the study of administrative integration of synodical institution (thesmos), highlighting Pentarchy, the ecumenical role of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, and the relationships and differences that emerged between the major ecclesiastical administrations (thronoi) until the 14th century. 1. From Pentarchy to the ecumenical role of the Patriarchate of Constantinople I, 2.From the Pentarchy to the ecumenical role of the Patriarchate of Constantinople II , 3. From Pentarchy to the ecumenical role of the Patriarchate of Constantinople III , 4 . The Universality of the Church as an expression of its unity, 5 . The Synallilia political theory as the Orthodox world, 6. The 28th canon of Chalcedon's Synod, recruiting and application in the light of the Slavic world I 7.
