Course Content (Syllabus)
Systematic interpretation of dogmatic and symbolic texts of the Orthodox Church, to be achieved: a) The theological consideration of the orthodox doctrine, as has been demonstrated by the doctrinal and symbolic texts of the Church from the ninth until the 20th century. b) The enhancement of the continuity and unity of Church teaching and tradition in a variety of their manifestations. (Dogma - Moral-Worship). Unities: 1-5, The Age of St. Photios and the problem of Filioque, 6. The results of the doctrinal differences in the division of the liturgical unity of Christianity, 7-8. The autonomy of Rome after the 9th century, 9-11. The decisions of the Councils of 14th century, 12. The Ottoman period. 13. The ecumenical position of the Patriarchate of Constantinople.
