Upon completing this course students will know about film cinematography in the early years. There is also a presentation of early silent classic movies.

Course Content (Syllabus)
History of cinematography up to the coming of sound. National cinemas and the advent of sound. The cinema of Hollywood up to the 80's. Italian neorealism, Nouvelle Vague and the cinemas of East and Australia. Techniques of avant-garde filmmaking. Digital cinematography. Lighting setups based on different scenes from movies
