Course Content (Syllabus)
This course covers issues in tourism development and planning focusing in the economic, environmental and cultural impact on Greece. The course aims to provide students with theoretical knowledge about sustainable tourism, the new forms of tourism and new trends in the tourism industry. It also aims to provide students with a broad understanding of the role that media play in the promotion and advertising of travel destinations. The case of Greece will be examined and students can focus on areas and choose topics to study according to their individual interests and needs.
