PROCEDURES: Initialevaluation phase, Environmental Impact Assessment Study,
Renewal of environmental rules, Modification of environmental rules, EIA process
(screening, scoping, EIA report preparation), Strategic Environmental Impact
Assessment
C. STATE OF THE ENVIRONMENT: Definition of the study area, Protected areas,
Natural Environment, Anthropogenic Environment, Description of environmental
components: climate, bioclimate, morphology, aesthetics visional features,
geology, tectonics, soils, natural environment, land uses, built environment,
historical and cultural environment, socioeconomic environment, infrastructure, air
quality, acoustic environment – noise, vibrations, radiation, surface waters and
groundwaters. Baseline conditions, Potential conditions.
D. IMPACT ASSESSMENT: General principals of impact assessment, evaluation
criteria.
