Brief timeline of municipal waste management history - Solid waste: Sources and generation, qualitative and quantitative characterization, prevention, reduction, reuse - Legal framework - Temporary storage, collection, recycling, source separation - Polluter-pays principle: Programs and systems.
Waste collection planning and urban environment improvement - Location-allocation of temporary waste storage in urban areas: Geographical, urban-planning and building effects – Chartograpfical visualization of waste bins – Waste vehicles routing – Socio-economic factors in waste management planning.
