Course Content (Syllabus)
Necessity of regional planning. Relationship of spatial and social processes. Spatial division of labor. Regional inequality, its patterns and representations. Methods of analysis, explanation and planning. Historical origins of regional planning spatial implications of the division of labor, patterns and processes of change. Information technology. Needs, problems, prerequisites. Methods of analysis and representation. Information technology and statistical analysis applications. Policy. Institutional aspects and frameworks. Role and implications of supranational institutions and frameworks.
