Course Content (Syllabus)
Land use and transport system relationship. Planning process, goals and stages. Demand forecasting methodology in four stages, type, form, accuracy of mathematic models. Trip generation models, trip distribution models, modal choice models and trip assignment models. Comments on the classical demand forecasting process and new trends. Examples and applications.
