Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to design a complete pressurized collective irrigation network (pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs) applying the statistical method for the supplies of Clement. Also they will be able to optimize the whole system of pipes and pumping station (construction cost , operating cost) and implement measures to protect the network from hydraulic hammer.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Basic principles and requirements for a study of a collective irrigation network. Calculation of supplies in collaborative networks with the statistical method of Clement. Calculation of the economic diameters of the pipelines with continuous method and a simplified continuous method. Planning the installation of a pumping station and the necessary reservoirs. Optimization. Protection of pipelines and pumping station against hydraulic hammer . Planning the necessary constructions of the irrigation network. Environmental impact.
