Introduction. General principles of managing. Rules. Levels of management. Interaction of water resources management with other systems. Availability of water resources. Evaluation of the potential of surface and groundwater resources. Temporal and spatial distribution and availability. Quality. Legal and policy framework for the management of water resources. Models for demand simulation. Growth scenarios. Integrated management systems. Introductory concepts of water management principles for the groundwater resources. Linear and integer Programming. Principles of non Linear Programming Programs Lindo Applications to problems in ground water resources
