Course Content (Syllabus)
1. History of Gymnastics in Greece and world wide. General exercises in growing ages. Kinetic characteristics and fitting abilities. Gymnastic movements and protagonist muscles . 2. Special exercises with elements of technique. 3. Speed transfer to the parts of the body from various positions 4. Gymnastic elements ( jumps , turns, balances, wavings) . 5. General information about the growing ages. Types of pushing and whipping ( Korbet) roll fwd , and roll backwards, permutations and combinations . 6. Supports. (Development of balance ability in reversed support. Types of inverted support). 7. Types of wheel. 8. Basic principles for technical perfection. Principles of biokinetics. Handspring, Flic-Flac (variants). 9. Free turn jumps (salto fwd with tucked, pikedf, stretched. with aids and assistance). 10.Methods of learning of gymnastic exercises. Horse vault 11. Types and rules of assistance. Kip on the various apparatuses. 12. Original elements. 13. Basic elements for ages 6-7 years. Elements of technical regulation for competition gymnastics

Description
The evaluation of students is done in theory and practice with a scale from 0 to 10 The average performance is the final mark of the course.Pass degree is 5 or more To pass the course the student must have a pass degree in theory and in practice. If he passes only the practice or theory the degree is kept by the teacher and when he passes and the other part of the course practice and theory are added, the total is divided with two and the final degree comes out. The theory includes the methodology of modern methods of learning exercises, the help, the organization of the course and historical elements of the sport. In practice, the students are examined in exercises they are taught throughout the year with main criterion the performance of skills of methodology that can be performed by these ages. The exercises are described in the study guide and in the unit Content of the course.
