Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction Past and current theoretical frameworks in human development. The influence of biology on development and behavior. Learning and development (motor, cognitive, moral, social). The role of emotions on development. Play and cognitive development. Development of self and social perceptions. Transition from childhood to adulthood. Psychological consequences of childhood and adolescence. Gender stereotypes. Socialization processes in childhood and adolescence. Descriptive and experimental approaches of human development. Assessment of behavior and mental/cognitive performance. Review
