Course Content (Syllabus)
Combat Sports and Self Defense
Aim: To provide practical knowledge in relatively simple self-defense techniques with little consumption of energy but with effective implementation. Techniques which come mainly from Olympic combat sports (Wrestling, Boxing, Tae Kwon Do, Judo) and Karate, common in modern Jiu Jitsu. Techniques useful in everyday situations related to "self-defense-self-protection."
Learning and teaching units:
1. Theoretical knowledge on the clarification of terms such as "self-defense-self-protection", "martial arts", historical, philosophical and legal approaches.
2. - Sensitive parts of the human body, and how can attack them.
- Basic self-defense stances. Peculiarities of teaching and technical training.
3. Defense against frontal attacks. (Grabbing, chokes, embracing). Striking, punching and kicking techniques. (1)

5. Defense against attack from the sides and rear. (1)
