Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will: • learn about the various theories of aging, why we are age • get to know the structure and function of the various cells, tissues, organs and physiological systems of the human body during aging • understand the biological, morphological and functional adaptations observed in the human body during aging • gain more specialized knowledge about the effect of exercise and diet on the physiological adaptations observed during aging
