Course Content (Syllabus)
Media play an increasingly important role in modern society. This course studies the relationship between media and society. A critical approach to communication theory (media effect theory, functionalist theory, system theory, Marxist theory, structuralist theory, post-structuralist theory) is attempted, and the relationship between communication technologies and social change and development is analyzed.
