Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction to Nuclear Reactors. Nuclearfuels.Neutron diffusion:One‐neutron group diffusion equation. Criticality computations,reflector. Two –neutron group equations. Reactor dynamics: Point Reactormodel. Space and Time dependent models. Feedback mechanisms. Transient phenomena. Transfer functions. Poisons. Fuel management. Control methods.Dynamic characteristics of nuclear power plants. Waste management. Nuclear accidents.
