Learning Outcomes
The learning objectives are designated so that upon completion of the course the stident should accomplish the following: - In depth understanding of the principles and design methods pertaining to the analog filters design. - Understanding of the pole/zero control of the transfer functions describing different forms of filters. -computing the sensitivities of filters with respect to several components affecting the gain. - Distinguish the filter architectures, the merits/demerits of different filter structures, the complexity of circuit implementation, and the frequency response characteristics. - Implement different filter forms using different design approaches. - Puting emphasis on realistic implementations of filters.
General Competences
  • Apply knowledge in practice
  • Retrieve, analyse and synthesise data and information, with the use of necessary technologies
  • Make decisions
  • Work autonomously
  • Work in teams
  • Work in an interdisciplinary team

Additional bibliography for study
Η παραπάνω λίστα αναρτάται στον ιστότοπο του μαθήματος στο e-THMMY. 1) Design of Analog Filters”, by Rolf Schaumann and Mac E.
