Course Content (Syllabus)
Numerical controlled machine tools (NC). Operations and programming of NC machine tools. Industrial robots structure and interconnection with CIM system. Design principles of mechanical processes, machine tools, transport, assemblies, tools, jigs, etc. Principles of Computer Aided Assembly (CAA). Electronic data transfer in integrated manufacturing systems. Introduction to industrial robots. Structure of industrial robot. Geometry arms. Work space of manipulator arms. Types of grippers. Actuation systems. Robot programming languages.
