Course Content (Syllabus)
Methods of coordinate interpolation for the numerical control of machine tools (linear, circular, planar). Adaptive control of NC machine tools. Production system using CNC machine tools. Standardized tests for the acceptance of CNC machine tools. Procedures to derive the process planning of mechanical processes. Programming machine tools using machine language (APT). Programming of CNC machine tools with CAD/CAM systems. CLDATA file structure and postprocessors. Accuracy measurements of machine tools using laser interferometers
