Learning Outcomes
The knowledge of the basic terminology of Reliability Theory and Reliability Engineering. The ability to calculate reliability parameters for systems and parts. The knowledge of the basic terminology of Maintenance. The ability to develop replacement models and evaluate the optimal replacement time that minimizes purchase and operation costs. The ability to develop simple preventive maintenance models for the determination of the economically optimal solutions.

Reliability Theory: Introduction, Reliability Functions (Exponential, Gamma, Weibull, Normal), System Reliability, Reliqability estimation, Part-count relaibility calculation, Fault Tree Analysis, Collection of Relaibility Data, Reliability Cost, Maintenance Policies, Replacement policies: Deterministic - Stochastic, Preventive Maintenance, Maintenance Planning and Management
