To understand and implement the investment planning and evaluation tools in real life conditions. To be able to comparatively evaluate alternative investments. To be able to carry out integrated feasibility studies.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Time related capital devaluation, inflation and capital cost in the planning and evaluation process of investments. The production unit: Main production and auxiliary equipment, fixed assets. Depreciation and replacement of equipment. Evaluation methods of investments: Net present value, internal rate of return, probability index, cost benefit analysis. Break even point analysis. Financing of alternative investment projects, Capital Budgeting. Incentives of investment: National and European programmes supporting investment plans. Contribution of incentives in the viability and feasibility of the enterprises. Investment risk. Public investment analysis.
