Learning Outcomes
After successful completion of this course, students will be able to understand the modern interdisciplinary approaches on issues of assisted reproduction and human enhancement, tο deepen to the ethical consideration and to form their own opinions.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The focus of the course will be on the study and analysis of the main ethical approaches on human reproductive and enhancement technologies, which are important for the modern understanding of anthropology and bioethics. More specifically during the semester the following topics will be examined and discussed:
1. Introduction to bioethics.
2. Introduction to the ethical consideration of assisted reproduction and human enhancement.
3. In vitro fertilization.
4. Specialized issues of in vitro fertilization.
5. Surrogate motherhood.
6. Surrogate motherhood and the commercialization of the human body.
7. Reproductive cloning.
8. Cognitive enhancement
9. Mood enhancement.
10. Moral enhancement.
11. Physical enhancement.
12. Genetic enhancement.
13. Lifespan extension.
