Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this class, students will be able to understand complex issues concerning language, class management and pedagogy as these are expressed through the works of seminal figures such as Piaget, Vygotsky, Bandura. After having concentrated on both the language and content, that is the stylistics of these texts, students will be familiar with important aspects of their studies in pedagogy.

Course Content (Syllabus)
This class introduces basic pedagogic concerns that students need to familiarise themselves with in English. English pedagogic scholarship has focused at length on the issues of efficacy, multilingualism in the classroom, learning disabilities, autism, the thoery of mind. The texts presented in this class dwell on such issues.
