Learning Outcomes
Understanding of the theoretical background of the design and operation of pressure installations and mains. Understanding and applying the calculative and simulative approach. Integrated design of pressure vessels. Integrated design of distribution networks for steam, compressed air, natural gas etc.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Pressure vessels: Characteristics, classification and structural analysis. Calculation of pressure vessels and mains. Standards and regulations. Energy storage vessels in industrial applications. Thermal, mechanical and pneumatic storage. Steam and water mains: design, dimensioning and construction of industrial flow networks.
