Learning Outcomes
It is expected that students in the framework of the course will
• Learn about basic design techniques
• Cultivate their observation and reasonable of «transporting» the subject in surface design
• Become familiar with the proportions and positioning of subject
• Learn the drawing basics materials
• Understand the volume creating through technique of chiaroscuro
• Connect and practice the triptych: Visual stimulus-logical analysis-fix/move

Course Content (Syllabus)
FREE HAND DRAWING I
General introduction to the free hand drawing. An observation exercises, studies and sketches, freedom-simplification through: still lives, statues, busts, figures of everyday life etc. Realization of the attributes of good design: proportions (correct placement, right size, draft, counting etc.). Analysis of shapes, and layers tones. Shading, volume. Composition, structure, module, perspective. First contact with the various Design materials.
